I thought you were going to say “none of them, because people don’t actually want advice they just want you to confirm what they already were going to get”.

Honda Element FTW... and the OG Matrix... I just realized how utilitarian I am....

I’ve owned all kinds of vehicles dating back to the late 1970s, and my bought new 2006 Honda Element EXP 5 speed manual is the best, most versatile vehicle I have ever owned or expect to ever own. Its only flaw has been that the seat fabric wears out.

Any Volvo wagon that is not a “Cross Country” version. Bonus points if it has a roof rack.

I said it once and I’ll say it again the XB is A-ok in my book, high key miss Scion in general.

VW Touareg V10 tdi just needs O2 sensors

For sale: 1986 Ferrari Testarossa. Just needs new timing belt ($40 part at NAPA).

I have a theory that certain desirable models simply change hands from defeated owner to soon-to-be-defeated owner, racking up owner records on the CarFax all the while. There’s simply no fixing them permanently, and it’s stopped me from even trying to buy those cars. Chiefly, I’m talking about the W140 S 600, Phaeton

Often times, when you see a temp tag on a car, especially one on FB Marketplace, it’s because that person is a flipper. They’ve just bought the car at auction and are trying to make a quick buck. Caveat emptor, because the seller has done absolutely nothing to the car in terms of repairs or reconditioning.

To summarize, if it “just needs a” and they didn’t do it, they’re lying. Why wouldn’t you do a cheap fix, if it would substantially increase the value or usability of the car.

The Element is the best vehicle Honda ever made. Fight me.

Meh.  Gimme a 740 Turbo wagon with a 5 speed and RWD and you’ll have my attention.

Spend 30 seconds to just take the license plate off you lazy ass.

1973 DeTomaso Pantera—because I had a Hot Wheels Matchbox example.

Dick Dastardly’s Mean Machine. If the dude would just stop stopping to cheat, he’d have blown away the competition every race.

The first car that caught my eye as a kid is still my dream car today

I was an impressionable 10 when the show first aired, so it doesn’t get any cooler than this:

From about the age of 3 I’ve been drawing cars (rudimentary of course) but as an adolescent in the 70's the 57 Chevy Bel Air was my idea of cool. I continued sketching cars and building 1/24 scale cars. I still have those sketches and my earliest ones are partly of Bel Air derivatives, almost always having those rear

Growing up in the 90's it didn’t get much cooler than a Diablo. Sales figures on the posters at the Schoolastic Book Fair would back me up on this. Also with cameos in Dumb and Dumber, Bedazzled, and the Cosmic Girl music video it was everywhere.

The Mach Five.
