Translation — “I’m a dumb-ass, party-first shitbird who sold out my constituents because my party said that money was more important than the lives of the people I swore an oath to represent. But you should know that I’ll do it again as soon as my party says to. Not if. When. That’s a promise I can keep. I will sell

This is all so surreal. Surreal and fucking depressing.”

I, along with the commentary, could not comprehend why they blew that play dead. As they pointed out several times really well, even if it was an incomplete pass, then nothing was lost by seeing the situation through. Instead the refs fundamentally affected the flow of the game without any good reason.

Maybe if the NRA didn't move away from gun safety and responsible use to calling for the murder of brown people and liberals....

It’s extremely frustrating how if anyone takes any stance on firearms other than completely unfettered access to every firearm ever conceived, you are “ANTI-GUN.”

the aspect ratio is WAY off. It’s what kills ALl the modern attempts at modern “classic” cars.

On the SUV discussion, my ‘17 Expedition EL came with an integrated brake controller. I haven’t used it because I have surge brakes, but it’s there.  Also, the Expedition is unbelievably easy to park, compare to a 1/2 or 3/4 ton pickup.  I don’t fully understand why.

I think the OP was stating he has almost no choice in buying a truck. Which is completely OK, it’s his money he can do whatever he wants with it. My response was only chiming in on his request for a recommendation of which one would be the best choice. I put hundreds of these on the road a year and they’re either

For the record, most consumers aren’t government agencies. (If anyone here is actually a government agency in need of a fleet of pickup trucks, apologies.) Pickup truck sales being what they are, it seems the truck craze has more to do with marketing than need. Eventually, fuel prices will spike again and the majority

If it were me, I’d get a used truck for the RV (because how often are you really using the RV, and if you have space for a camper, you have space for an extra pickup). For the rest? Be a man, get a minivan.

My buddy has a ‘16 Silverado 5.3. We recently drove 1000 miles with an enclosed car hauler. I think we averaged about 10mpg or worse. He really pines for a diesel.

You don’t say how big the camper is, but the 4Runner is spec’d at a 5000 pound towing limit... So either you are close to that limit or over it to some degree.

Objective feedback- keep the 4-runner, outfit it more for towing (springs and whatever else that might entail) and then buy yourself something small and efficient for all your other driving. Buying a gigantosaur truck as a daily driver and then only using it’s capabilities for a cross country trip once or twice a year

If you like your 4runner, get a Tundra. The gas l=mileage is awful but it gets 14 whether you’re towing a small cruise ship or just your own ego.

Speaking from experience if you end up liking the camping and rving you will end up wanting to trade up to something larger. You may want to just consider a 2500 size with an diesel. You can pick up used ones for a decent price as well.

It kinda sounds like you need a used 2500 Suburban. I say used, because I don’t think the latest models come with a 3/4 ton option anymore. However, they make great camper pullers/family haulers and tend to last a while. If you don’t think you need a bed to take tall items, then the suburban is good because the

Like others have said, there isn’t much difference between them anymore. It really comes down to personal preference. I love the ride and interior of the Ram. The looks of the Chevy turn me off but I like the GMC looks just not all the equipment choices. Ford just never had the right combo of features that I wanted

You’ll never get that here. Try one of the truck sites for professional reviews. These guys are too busy whining about how intimidating” trucks are to offer a thorough, objective review.

Stephen, A lot depends on how big your camper is. Just purchased a Ram 2500 (Grew up driving Dodge/GMC/Ford/Vw Rabbits, little of everything. IMO, they have very comfortable interiors. We camp with 2 adults, 2 kids, and a 6' tall teenager. Adding in a week’s worth of gear, and weight distribution hitch for a 6000lb

Actually that was just Coke Bee, Coke’s newest drink line.
