Here’s the thing about this particular troll/marketing ploy (if indeed that’s ALL this is - and I think that it’s really him): you fuck a goat, even as a joke - you’re still a goatfucker. And I say this as a former fan who defended him through all kinds of bullshit before this, myself.

I agree. I’m still drained, a day later. I never got to see “The Empire Strikes Back” in its original theatrical run. I wondered aloud to the beautiful young woman who sat next to me if this was how that audience felt. I’d give almost anything to know for sure, but it has to be close.

Yeah... Your perspective is a nice thought. It’d be nice to think that, but maybe you’re playing the whole- someone left a pair of sunglasses on the floor of an art gallery accidentally and everyone starts thinking it’s a genius perspective of the collection - type thing. No one needs to clarify and outline their art,

Holy shit man, when Spider-Man faded away, I almost started ugly crying. That’s exactly how I would expect a kid to handle that situation. Tom Holland nails the performance of Peter/Spidey so well. If that skill carries over to his non-MCU performances, he’ll probably be one of Hollywood’s leading men before too much

There is no way in hell I am going to read this story and possibly ruin the most perfect headline ever composed.

still better than 808s

There are *a lot* of other comics than marvel and dc where characters actually grow and change and death sticks. DMZ, Y The Last Man, Prophet (the reboot), Saga, Infinite Vacation, Invincible, Walking Dead, Glory, American Way, The Boys, Bitch Planet...I could literally go on for half an hour. If you don’t like

Loved it. All of it. Especially that Thanos is the hero of his own story. He sees what he is doing as an absolute good. He’s doing something on a cosmic scale and he absolutely believes he’s on the side of life. He has to overcome tremendous obstacles, super powered beings trying to stop him, has to make a horrific

“War Machine hugs the dude that paralyzed him”

Will completely agree that I guess a complaint is that it was a bit too funny that the theatre was laughing too long and loud that I missed some dialogue, but that’s a good problem to have

This is the first movie that after it finished, my packed theater was pretty much dead silent and at a standstill (with a few minor leavers) and you could feel this heaviness in the air. It was almost as if Thanos really had killed us and we were individually sitting alone in am empty theater. BEST FUCKING MOVIE

Yeah, it’s insane. Everyone who disappeared is gonna come back, but chances are at least one of Cap, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk etc is gonna die for good in the next one. It... it really sucks. I didn’t actually realise how much I cared about these characters until 16 of them died.

Banner obviously doesn’t have the control over the Hulk that he did in the original Avengers, which would seem to be driven in large part by his interaction with Natasha and time on Sakkar. As great a laugh of Banner hitting the Rainbow Bridge in Ragnarok was, it also provided some nice foreshadowing to this movie.

I’m watching it again and this time taking my ten-year-old son on Sunday. I’ve only told him it’s not a happy movie to prepare him emotionally. I can’t imagine parents taking their even younger kids to see their idol superheroes being decimated, and having to explain that to them...

Most people in the cinema and show I went to stayed to watch the single extra scene, but I bet almost no one knew what the symbol meant. I went, “Yeah!” It was the single beacon of hope in the entire grim movie.

A few of my musings on:
-the Hulk: He is so scared, I think that he needs Banners bravery to come out again, basically merging into the grey hulk to get shit done.

I’m pretty sure the Peter and Tony scene will break EVERYBODY’S hearts. It was milked like a cow sure, but it still really hurt, Tom Holland sold the shit out of that scene.

Favorite quip:

Yea ill admit my 29 year old ass jumped out of my seat when Vision got stabbed.

You have only seen the first out of 18 movies?
