And peeing on a statue of Winnie the Pooh! And shouting at a stage magician that he (the magician) was clearly wearing a codpiece.

*sigh* Ok. I’ll check back in tomorrow.

Not just actors, but well-rounded people. With their own friends and credit cards and keys.

For real. If I had her money you’d never hear from me again.

Atheism has nothing to do with certainty. Agnostic atheists are by definition uncertain if God exists or not. People like to extract agnostic people like they’re not part of the atheism/theism dichotomy, but agnosticism falls under atheism, just like monotheism (Christianity, Islam, and Judaism) and polytheism fall

Sorry, if the people who believe in God and the people who don’t believe in God are both fucking stupid, who’s not fucking stupid? Polytheists?

That is the wrong argument. You can never, ever prove the non-existence of a thing. I cannot be done because that’s not how evidence works. Can I prove that there are no unicorns? No. I can say that there is no evidence that there are unicorns and that’s it. However, if you DO believe that a thing exists, then the

atheism isnt knowing theres no god its a lack of belief in god

I get the L&T hate, I just don’t buy into it myself. It went out there much more than Dark World did, and it had some emotional beats land (not that DW didn’t; they got Frigga’s death and the fallout for that right even if the rest of the movie was mid). The gags were more out there and as such much more polarizing

I am an atheist and am excited to learn that, apparently, it now qualifies me as an “edgelord” as well. I also got whiplash from the way this article seemed to keep pivoting back and forth on whether the author thought it was the worst take, a legit take, a weird take, etc.

I don’t think it necessarily seemed he wasn’t interested in the film...I think it was DEFINITELY clear that Waititi was more interested in just having fun and fucking around and thinking more professionally and creatively about the movie.

I think we’re gonna get a lot of executives pointing the blame at audiences and their pesky changing tastes for the decline of movie theaters and “cinema,” but if movie studios want to point the finger and anyone, they should point it at Wall Street and the streaming wars over the last ten years. Every corporation

I find it mind boggling that two guys who were instrumental in making some of the most successful films in history apparently think their younger audiences aren’t capable of paying attention to things narratively. It’s particularly galling because I went, and go, to all those Marvel movies on opening weekend, and

huh. I almost didn’t recognize her.

Not what I meant.

Jim Davis will cut a bitch.

I feel like the only reason we even know or care about this event is for the famous Colbert set for Bush Jr where he really did get up there and rip into the administration in a funny way. But that was Colbert at height of his power and Colin Jost will never be that funny

You know, politics being so boring that comedians just make boring jokes about it sounds nice.
