The first season of What If...? was maybe my least favorite MCU project until Secret Invasion, but this trailer looks pretty good. Honestly, it was mostly a problem of it being Marvel’s first animated work, and it seeming very much like that. Maybe they’ve got a bit more experience this time around.

Now is the time for Disney to bite the bullet and admit they made a huge mistake when they announced this movie. Let everyone know that it was supposed to be called The Krang Dynasty, and that they have stealthily acquired Paramount this past year and will be merging the MCU and TMNT universes.

Yusuke and Kuwabara look fine, but Kurama and Hiei look laughably bad, at least in the header photo. At least it seems they’re going to just stick with teenage Koenma to avoid an even sillier looking toddler version.

TWO tournament arcs, in fact. I think the show leaned into power levels and energy blasts in the last leg just for funsies, but up until that point I think it kept itself fairly distinct by doing a much wider variety of powers and attacks than DBZ. Shonen stuff is always going to fall into that trap if it goes longer

Our Bros.

Yeah, I can never argue with the people who say it’s a great episode, because I think it very well might be, but it turns me off in such a way that I wouldn’t put it anywhere near the top of my list.

Back to work *please

Fisk arranged it in some manner that’s escaping me now. I don’t remember if he fed info to Hawkeye or just used her father as a distraction while he got away, but it was something in that general area. Maya realized that he’d been set up because of what Clint told her, and then confirmed that the syndicate was aware

Probably another surprise two parter. I’ll wait to watch until Return of the Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes premieres in 2025

This is why Matt Smith always made sure to have multiple accessories on hand

She definitely has a plan, and given how capable she’s proven herself, it wouldn’t surprise me if she takes over the family and establishes some sort of diplomatic relationship with the Federation so she can go back.

But for Nguyen, the most relatable character was the King himself. “My favorite character is Hank Hill, which I’m sure everyone says.

“HBO intends to vigorously defend against Mr. Temori’s allegations. We are not going to comment on select exchanges between programmers and errant tweets.”

It’s weird believing that we should absolutely be building planned cities and that we could absolutely intentionally and collectively put our effort into making our society more utopia-like, but living in this reality, where techbros are the only people interested in doing it and they seem to have no idea how to hire

Fucken kids, dude. If you ask me, this new generation always have their heads stuck in their phones, instead of watching ALF, like they should be.

Casting the same person twice in different roles should be much less of a problem than a lot of people make it out to be. I think it’s less of a problem than outright recasting a character, something that also needn’t be considered sacrosanct. It’s a big world and sometimes people look similar. Especially in a big

I suppose it’s left slightly as a matter of interpretation, but the logic of it is basically inescapable. Ego carries around the bones of all his offspring, because he collects them all and tries to bond with them, or whatever. He doesn’t go around collecting random children, because he’s got thousands of progeny, and

It’s such a fundamental aspect of modern capitalism that people refuse to believe things have a shelf life, and that no matter how popular or god forbid profitable something is, one day, even if everything goes perfectly to plan, that thing will stop being both. It’s happened in broad public view thousands of times
