How does Deadspin monitor the multitude of Barstool content outlets close enough to catch all these things? I understand the major things like the ESPN debacle or if Portnoy writes a featured blog, but as someone who has the Barstool app and checks the site fairly frequently, I rarely see these controversial things…

This is why I don’t watch ESPN. Not because of liberal bias or cutting cable, but because it feels like manufactured “reality” show. Thanks for articulating some my frustration.

This is actually a good move if they want to attract recruits and coaches that can one day get them to a real championship. You can’t ask more of the players or staff than winning all their games and providing incentives for doing so is a smart move for the program even if it looks dumb or tacky to outsiders.
