Austin:

I’ll take “One of these is not like the others” for $400, Alex.

#themathisstaggering

remember: we’re judging from our own lazy-asshole point of view, not from that of someone who actually wants to be an starting QB or whatever.

I feel like starring this could cause a part of me to die inside...

[Kessler]: He came to us as a man...

You: rod. Me: log. Trust in log...

This is not real. Please, for the love of Christ, this cannot really be real.

Sounds fishy to me. I can’t wait to see how English spins this one.

Call me a chump - fine. But a Cards fan?!?! No reason to get personal and nasty here...

My intuition (rightly or wrongly) was that the foul ball-to-swinging strike ratio would be lower than it is on 100mph+ fastballs. 4 balls put into play out of 33 pitches in the zone is pretty amazing, though.

Sure. Although not all of them increment a strike count.

More of them were ball calls (17) than resulted in strikes (15, not counting foul balls (12)).

Weird. All my personal Jesus does is scream at me that I’m going to Hell for being a Patriots fan...

Brian Hoyer, after finally getting a Texans jersey:

That’s outstanding.

Saw them late, in like ‘91 or ‘92, in Portland. Great show.

Don’t forget James George Janos!
