They work for tourist tours in small areas where they can be within a couple hours of a good hanger to ride out a storm. But for any longer trips, they would need special hangers all over the place to shelter in to ride out storms.

My chocolate lab mix makes goose noises when she is frustrated.  We had a dog that made monkey noises when anxious.   Dogs make a lot more noises than barking and growling and howling.  It’s great fun to hear them.
