There is a fundamental difference in how America was populated than with other countries. So, why is this?

And whenever people from the Rust belt talk about car shopping for a used car, I always tell them to head south. Southwest has direct flights from Detroit to Nashville. They run specials pretty often so the flight isn’t going to cost a ton.

I have one, but I’m famously FOS, so it just drops me down to normal usage levels.

But do this BEFORE you need to.   There are time limits on this stuff.  I plan to set this up as soon as I retire.

I would suggest expanding to higher miles (say 30k) and get Toyotas and Hondas to look at in this search, but on the other hand, I would recommend a VW over a Mirage  14 days a week. 

Used Toyota Sienna. I would do the drive away from the Rust belt to get something like this.

3rd Gear. I’m already seeing fall out from the pure quartz mine shutdown.

exactly. As my mom aged, she started worrying about not having enough money to leave for her children. I told her that she should spend every dime and try to leave this earth with a $0 balance in her bank. She and my dad worked hard to earn that money and they had every right to enjoy it.

Our old backdoor neighbor was in that area. Her daughter’s house had 3 trees fall on it and she’s living in a Hotel with 2 dogs, a cat, and her daughter. We have offered our spare bedroom for her and her dog, but she likely can’t make it here because the interstate in her area is gone.
