Yes, my current car has great controls. Take HVAC. Three dials each with a button in the center. Dial one sets the fan speed and the button turns on and off recirculation. Dial two sets the temperature and the button turns on the AC. Dial three directs the flow and the button turns on the rear defrost. No other

This wasn’t a CARB car. The modifications were:

I’d rather stay at home. I have a messed up back and one of the best ways to sleep is to have an 80 lb lab mix lay up against it. Or an 80 lb Great Pyrenes mix (although having both at once can be annoying). I don’t think there is a plane seat in the world that would allow me to have a comfortable long haul flight

The only good thing about the 80s cars was ironically safety. Oh  they weren’t safe at all in a crash of any significant speed.  But they were so dang slow, it was hard to even dent them.  Especially with the 5 mph bumpers.  That was nearly the top practical speed on many of them.

Yeap. My first car had a 4.4L V8 and would theoretically run the quarter mile in something like 23 seconds. I used the term “theoretically” there because more than 5 seconds at WOT would lead to something breaking.

I wouldn’t know. I’ve never flown enough to have any sort of status.

Wasn’t the chicklet array button system invented by Blaupunkt?

I want to see it in slideshow format.”

All the talk about “bring back the buttons” forgets about the horrors of ages past when the entire dash was a series of black plastic chicklet sized buttons that had the symbols wear off within a week of purchase. Does this button turn up the radio, turn on the cruise control , or turn off the traction control? Only

Actually, I don’t like buttons... (roll to dodge oncoming hate mail).

Yeap. Nothing says in the regulations that you can’t build to a stronger code.

You don’t need a knife to cut Swiss cheese. It’s perforated. Just rip off a chunk

My complaint about my local airport is related to yours about the big airports. From parking lot to gate is 10 minutes, including TSA 9 times out of 10. Which is great.

There are basically two James Bonds.

Yes, my on going joke about why the seats in my cars are never in good shape.

I’m just thinking the amount of chemicals released would be going down over time.  But I guess if the foam hits a point that it starts breaking down quicker for some reason, more chemicals would be released.

That would never make money as a video for two simple reasons.
