I personally think it’s a brilliant idea.
I personally think it’s a brilliant idea.
There’s a difference between a dreamer and a visionary.
Yeap. And I think the move to open up the Supercharger network to charge non-Telsas might be the point at which historians will talk about Telsa Cars in the past tense.
I was thinking the Model X. I can’t think of an SUV that was available when it came out.
True for EVERY golf cart ever.
I think there is a parallel with Henry Ford (Senior). Ford had the vision to make a car that was affordable and useable for the masses. However, like Telsa, Ford sat on the Model T for far too long and other manufacturers entered that market and eventually surprised Ford. If the Model A had come out in the early 20s…
Regardless of your opinion on the Cybertruck (it’s stupid), the fact is that it is entering a market that already has options available. This is new for Telsa, they have always entered empty markets and set the standards instead of having to unseat someone.
I watched the eclipse a couple years ago. If you watch it, one of the cool things is what happens to shadows. It’s wild. And what ends up happening is that you end up with a giant crowd of people running around literally chasing shadows to see what cool effects it makes.
First gear: It’s time for Musk to leave Tesla.
Exactly, I used to be an absolutely horrible golfer. I would go up to the tee box right after watching someone drive the ball nearly 300 yards down the center of the fairway and think “I’m going to outdrive this guy and knock the cover off the ball!”
There is a generational shift in this. I remember as a kid having a friend that had a 3 siblings and we would get into the car with him, his siblings and his parents for drives... in a Bug. 2 adults and 5 kids.
Visionaries build, CEOs maintain.
Absolutely.
Maybe that is the point. Make a $100k+ truck and “eat the rich”
That’s what she said.
Agree, but I have to add a point.
Musk is a visionary. I will get pushback on this, but let me explain.
I’ve only used these things around golf courses. I would expect they can go maybe 20 miles, since it’s likely 2-3 miles for 18 holes (5-10 the way I play) and they typically get 3-4 rounds a day.
The engineers pointed out the problem to management once.
