They haven't done anything as brilliant as the zombie episode yet, but this season has been way more consistent. And it feels like Shinichiro Watanabe is letting his writer/animator friends just come in and do whatever they want, to great effect. The Masaaki Yuasa episode was wild.

Cunnilingus in a castle is hardly a waste of time.

TOO HOT FOR TV

Yeah, I'll definitely stick with it for a few episodes.

It's too early to tell whether Outlander will ever reach those heights, but as long as you go into it knowing that it's a fantasy show with a sizable amount of romance, you can see alot of Moore's trademarks (great character drama, well-realized worlds, etc.)

Anybody else watch Black Jesus last night? I love Aaron McGruder-era Boondocks, but I kind of thought this show was torture. It had a few laughs, but I wished it was over after 10 minutes.

Guy with guy parts speaking here: This show is very good.

"And if I don't get Carrie Raisler reviews of Outlander, there's going to be a riot."

I don't know how to process Boo from Bunheads talking about a guy finishing on her face.

Sounds like something DMX would do.

No character will ever be as awful as Jace was.

There are many thorough, thoughtful TV reviews on this site (far better than IGN, in my opinion). You just happened to read one that's proving to be very divisive. That shouldn't be the basis of your entire opinion of The AV Club.

Oh, I've been on the Jill and Aimee train since day one. They're a laugh riot. Let's get an episode entirely about them, Lindelof!

Man, Carrie is so good. I feel like she doesn't get enough attention because the shows she reviews aren't AV Club popular, but her take on Switched at Birth is always enlightening.

The Legend of Korra.

"P.S. A baby angel is born every time Korra has her hair down. Seriously, she's so beautiful!"

We've got to find a way to slip the term "AV Club waifu" into discussions here more often from now on. I'm still laughing at it.
