Man, that Courtney Barnett double EP is just so great.

I just looked up what happens in that episode to jog my memory and yeah, I had a similar reaction. "That moment" really sold me on the show.
This thread is going to be so confusing to everybody who got here post-edits.
You see what you've done, Lindelof? You've turned Lifeless Husk into a…lifeless husk!
Also: I think all the teenagers are really funny (Jill was a little humorless in this one, but she's been darkly hilarious in the other episodes).
I too was excited about that.
Yeah, I'm really surprised by how fun I found Black Sails to be. It was one of the shows I looked forward to watching the most back when it was airing.
Oh good, I thought I was going to be the only person here defending it when I saw people piling on it a few threads up. I burned through the first season in a few days and it was an exhilarating experience. Now I can't wait for the second season.
I guess I'm going to be in the minority and stick up for The 100, because I absolutely think it's one of the best new shows of the year. Most of the first season is split between the teens on Earth and the adults on the space station, so even if you're turned off by the usual CW model of "pretty people doin' stuff,"…
Shout out to Carrie for briefly mentioning The 100. What a surprisingly great show.
U Talkin' U2 to Me is hilarious, but The Andy Daly Podcast Pilot Project was an absolute masterpiece.
I really like her dress in those commercials. That is all I have to contribute.
This is my first real exposure to Teti's writing (I've never seen past the first few episodes of Six Feet Under, didn't watch Project Runway, and wasn't enough of a video game guy to ever frequent Gameological). I must say, he's absolutely brilliant. Easily the best writer on the site now.
All is forgiven because you correctly identified the show's best character.
I don't like Downton Abbey very much these days, but Dockery is great, and she's been nominated for the past couple of years, so it's not that much of a surprise/travesty.
Yeah, they really came out of the gate strong with that premiere. It felt similar to the zombie episode in the way that it kept carrying the premise past the point you'd expect it to, but it was funny enough to not feel repetitive. The Dandy that basically spouted a bunch of Michael Jackson-isms was particularly…
*stands up and claps*
Maybe I'm just so used to hearing her on Misfits, but I thought Karla Crome's American accent was really bad. Other than that though, she is delightful!
The shot at the end of The Fosters, of the new window that Wyatt put in falling out and shattering, is the funniest scene to happen in a non-comedy this year. I was howling with laughter.
This was my favorite since "Uprising" too, so you're not going too far. Or maybe we both are!
