Just shouting into the void to say that I was watching this show and following along with the comments years later, but the transition to Kinja ruined all of that!!!

I haven't watched this episode yet but I just want to say YES to regular reviews of this (especially from Allison)! It's such a fun and positive show — I love the central friendship and the surprisingly nuanced stories about navigating your career when you're a young person and a woman.
And the sound design when she was scratching it only amplified the nauseating feeling.
I liked the film well enough, but this show is just spectacular. Episode 1 is a strong start but it just keeps getting better (I'll be excited to talk about the fantastic Barry Jenkins-directed 5th episode in the comments when we get there).
Jodie Comer was so good in My Mad Fat Diary and everyone should watch it. That is all.
Aww man, what a bummer that this feature is going to be less regular. It's always a joy to read!
The pop culture references are annoying me too, partially because everybody makes the same type of references. Adults, jocks, and nerds should at least have a slightly different frame of reference from each other! But I will admit that the Montgomery Clift line made me laugh.
Yeah I was a little shocked to see how divisive this episode was. I loved it.
Frankie Cosmos on your list and a PS Eliot shoutout. I like you.
Nice inclusion of KING. Not enough people talking about that album.
I was hoping that Netflix getting in the Amy Sherman-Palladino business would at least mean we would get season 1 of Bunheads on Netflix, but alas.
Episode #418: Paul Reiser and the Apple Tree.
Going into this season I told myself "This will be the last season I watch before I stop watching the show" but it's been good enough that I'll probably stick around. I can't quit you, Masters of Sex.
I was less surprised by McKenna's skills than everyone else because I had happened to watch this a few weeks ago and apparently rapping/music is kinda her thing:
It's a shame they don't do more with her too. She's one of the few characters who has a sense of humor.
20/20 Experience Part 2 is not as good as Part 1, but I really like a few songs on there ("Gimme What I Don't Know," "True Blood," "Cabaret," "You Got It On")
The Hap and Leonard ads exaggerated the wackiness. It's not as serious as Quarry, but it's not a comedy. I'd liken the tone to Justified.
My friend who had never seen the show watched a random episode and pointed out the hand thing and after that I was never able to unsee it.
100% this. I feel like I'm going crazy hearing everyone say that this season has been a disappointment. It's leaps and bounds better than the first season in my opinion.
In a fair and just world, the internet would be as obsessed with Donna as they (inexplicably) are with Barb from Stranger Things. She's just the best, and Kerry Bishe is giving one of my favorite performances on television.
