I mostly agree with you and dirtside. The Last Jedi was neither great nor terrible. It did some things quite well and really botched the execution on other beats.

As far as Discovery goes, I haven’t written it off yet. I actually enjoyed the first season, though it’s certainly not without flaws. I certainly think there’s a lot of room for improvement.
