Yeah, Daredevil is better than Madame Web by a mile. Like, I actually like that movie, flaws and all. And it is an authentic product of its era, unlike Madame Web, which is a simulacra of 2003.

That’s because in this context liberal has two separate meanings.  Liberal as a political term means left.  Liberal in a freedom sense means more open.  Right now calls for silencing people they don’t like is coming from a decidedly illiberal set of liberals.

I’m sure I’m an outlier here but I really loved the first JJ one and am not outraged by Into  Darkness. They were actually the first things to get me into the franchise as a whole since I didn’t really grow up with it.
