That’s the only answer that makes any sense to me.

Cats!

Please. I came home from work one day, and all three of my cats were on the couch with my mutt. Conspiring my imminent demise, no doubt.

Goddammit. Now I want to get a pack of Red Vines and stick ‘em in my Dr. Pepper.

I dunno, I feel like the text message chain at the end kind of is normal, especially for an insecure man. I mean, not a good normal, but commonplace enough to be believable.

I was mad at a girl I had a crush on because she kept agreeing to go out with me and then blowing me off at the last minute, and the last time she

also, THIS.

THIS.

I wonder that myself. I’m 27, and I don’t see the appeal young women have on older men. I prefer to date my age, give or take three years or so. I don’t know why thirty-something men want to date college-age women. It makes no sense to me.

As a man, I don’t know why men are up in arms about this story. It’s pretty much dead-on.

This must be why I hate swimming!

My most recent attempt at writing fiction stalled after I described my protagonist’s five cats.

It checks out.

Although I’m disappointed no cats made an appearance.

The Force Awakens better than A New Hope? That’s like saying Elvis sang Hey Jude better than Paul McCartney.

That makes zero sense. You literally never even see her face.

Honestly, one of my favorite things about the seventh season was how well they handled Deanna Troi. Like, she actually got some interesting things to do, even if she wasn’t always the center of the story. And she even got promoted to commander. That was a big win for a character who needed a win.

Technically, they didn’t change the endings, per se. What they did was add additional cutscenes to make the repercussions of your decisions more apparent.

As well, they actually did add a fourth possible ending, that gets its own cinematic cutscene. In some ways, I think the new ending is actually the best one of all.

I can mostly agree with you, but I’d rate TOS a little more favorably. I’d say that about half of TOS is good-to-great: most of the first season and a large chunk of the second season, with a handful of good-but-not-great episodes in the third season. And honestly, I think a 50% mark is pretty good for revolutionary

You make some good points, but The Return of the Jedi also had the amazing opening act in Jabba’s Palace. The final showdown between Luke and Vader is still fantastic. I don’t know that there’s anything in The Last Jedi nearly as memorable as those scenes.

There were moments, but they were usually character moments. Probably the best joke in TNG (Q aside) is from “Rascals,” when Picard calls Riker his “number one dad.” Makes me chuckle every time.

A Russian dude co-wrote the song with Ms. Carey.
