What a totally casual, not at all staged photo there, Avril.

I have no idea. I might have been busy looking at a photograph.
A source tells E! the two “met through friends at a dinner party and hit it off” earlier this year. Said another source, “He was a billionaire. She, uh, wasn’t. Can I make it any more obvious?”
I liked the meeting of Clementines. That was so sad. Interweaving it with Sakura’s story.
“and I’m always going to be a sucker for stories in which robots learn to be better people than people themselves”
I strongly agree with the other commenter. This episode, while being beautiful and emotional, truly made me realize just how uninterested I am in the Dolores/Teddy storyline.
Dolores is cold blooded. If you look at the screen of what the tech did to him, turned his compassion to zero while maxing aggression, perception and hostility. She basically made him into her personal murder bot.
I agree. As talented as Evan Rachel Wood is, I haven’t felt much investment in her villainous turn. She’s neither a reluctant nor enthusiastic baddie, just one going through the motions she thinks she needs to do in order to remain free, without much emotion or reflection. It’s like she’s more robotic now than when…
The Japanese lines are all written in old Japanese, or more precisely the grammar style you find in a Taiga drama. That alone is a cut above most stuff on TV.
This episode just highlights how much more interesting Maeve’s storyline is compared to Dolores’ these days. And it’s not just Maeve herself, mind you, she’s going to interesting places, she’s got more compelling supporting characters, her motivations make more sense, etc.
When Sheila mentioned she bought the bangs with the phones I immediately guessed they’d give her away.
Mostly I’m just relieved that the stuff about Anne’s religion actually had a purpose, as for most of her scenes this season I was legit wondering if they thought making a character religious meant that they had to constantly bring it up with every single sentence they say.
Stefon is so good becaues Hader is trying so hard not to break, but Mulaney knows exactly what to spring on him that will get him to do it.
It’s one of those webcam site for people who don’t actually want to do sex stuff, they just want to stare creepily into the camera and talk about their feelings.
And what kind of condomless shenanigans is Chic doing that he needs to be tested every weeK? The standard in the porn industry is once a month.
The isle of Lesbos ... the most beautiful place in the world
It is always nice to see Polly, even though nothing about her as a character makes sense (why did she leave the cult? why San Francisco?). She and Betty are cute together though & I like that she appreciates Betty’s Nancy Drew thing.
Cheryl & Toni are the only couple on the show I am remotely pulling for anymore. It is very nice that someone is in Cheryl’s corner, finally, and is there to laugh with her at her family’s insanity and confirm that yes, your mother is incredibly awful. And Cheryl seemed to confirm in her impromptu speech at the will…
Oh, another reason why Riverdale sucks now: Grandma Blossom is missing her Random Red Streak.
The core 4 stories have become the lest interesting part for me. Give me Cheryl and Toni navigating her cursed incest family, and the Coopers covering up murders and making scenes at formal gatherings... and Kevin and his dad’s loving, supportive relationship.
