When F.E.A.R. 3 was first announced I though "well at least they didn't name it like Driv3r." Then they did and I did a facepalm.

Eneloop batteries are awesome. I've used them for my Xbox for years.

THANK YOU! I've been saying this since I heard him in Supreme Commander 2.

There seems to be a whole lot of speculation and conjecture in this thesis. How do we know the mating patterns of early tribal man?

I wonder if this castle will be towed by his Majesty's royal accountant H&R Blockhead.

Having lived in Dallas all my life I'm a bit sad I've never made it to quakecon. Am I totally missing out?

@vidhagans: It depends on your definition of quality. If you're talking good graphics with no bugs then sure. If you're talking a well written plot with good direction then no, quality sucks.

@vidhagans: The problem seems to me is that you've got a studio lacking the talent that it used to have. The IP is less important than the talent behind it especially when the IP is nothing more than a name as with FF.

@Ali-Kharazi: Because it's going to suck just like all Square RPGs have this generation.

Look people, I had all the Square games back in the SNES days and I say this with a heavy heart. Squeenix is dead. Lets stop getting our hopes up. We've finally learned to cope with the loss of Sonic and now we must cope with the loss of FF and move on. Abandon hope for Versus XIII, it's your only hope for

@Outkastprince: Final Fantasy Tactics got ported to the GBA where it's soul was surgically removed and replaced with the neverending story straight to DVD cash in crap. Squeenix is dead.

@THE_MOOGLEKING: Oh it's the lack of talent for sure. They used to have the talent that any game they did turned to gold. Now they have zero talent in the office so everything is a befuddled mess. They can't even do FF right how can they do anything else?

@dallasmay: I'm surprised there wasn't a good alternative to the iPhone after a year.

Deus Ex had better be freaking amazing. I can't stand to see another one of my most beloved franchises not become iconic for a future generation.

@Magical_Monkey: That was my main problem with FFXIII. The theme was supposed to be something like "Gods playing with men" but it never really comes across in the game.

@Magical_Monkey: Yes, there are secondary themes as well but the loss of Aeris was the central theme.

Those who don't know history are doomed to repeat it. I'm surprised that Apple has made it this far in their proprietary ways before an upstart gave them pause.
