The Hoth Battle from Shadows of the Empire was the first time I really felt like I was playing the movie. It was truly how you always wanted to play that level. The ship hovered and handled very tight and having an analog stick was a novel sensation. It wasn't some cheap CG rail shooter like rebel assault. The N64

Did anyone else find it ironic that Peter wasn't satisfied with way over promising on Fable 2 but they ended up not being able to deliver the physical special editions either?

@NeöStarr: indeed. That's the most hardcore, few could endure such torture.

New proposed definition of Hardcore gamer: Someone who has bought so many games he can't play them all and is now working on his "backlog" of games.

Last Guide I bought I think was Final Fantasy VIII. Game makers hid stuff without any clues as to the whereabouts in games then so you kind of needed the guide if you wanted to get everything. Upsell upsell upsell. Now I just use gamefaqs.com.

@josh6135: Thanks for the hands on. I'd really like to get a monitor and a kit because I already have the PC. What monitor are you using?

@BattleMoose87: I quit gamefly but only because they wouldn't send me any games I wanted to play. I had 7 games in my queue for over a week and they sent me nothing. Not a darn thing.

@bobtheduck in Korea: Then you'll be ostracized by all sides and left alone and miserable.

Quite easily the most depressing thing I've seen in months. Even more than the horrific labor conditions at Foxconn.

At least they're not calling it Gran Tourismo Forever.

To all you people who were saying that AC2 was a complete game and the DLC was only additional content:

We could reach out to casual gamers if the core wasn't so fractured as it is now. Harvest moon players are the nerds. Halo players are the dumb jocks. Sims players are the girls and nobody talks to the Animal Crossing shut-ins. We're not tolerant about other types of gamers so we band together against the common

@angry_gamer: I just think you're over simplifying. I still played FFXIII but I'm not an asian girl.

For a while now Target has had some awesome clearance deals if you bother to go scrounging. The downside to this redesign is that I've seen most of those deals going away. Hopefully the glory days of Target game clearance aren't over yet.

@Pray4Mojo: I do love that steam and Direct2Drive have huge sales all the time. I've been getting a lot of games that way. Also your name makes me laugh, you get a heart.

@Pheermee: should have stood next to them with a sigh "These people are frauds throw fruit at them"

@Pray4Mojo: A lot of times the GPU requires a new power supply if you're dealing with a stock dell or HP. That ads another $70 or so. Really if you get a good GPU and a good PSU you're already close to the cost of a console and many people don't even own desktops. I'd say 75% of computers that I sold at circuit

@Manly_McBeeferton: Don't forget, there's always panhandling. I bet you'd make $60 quick if you include something crazy. Try "Need money to get back to the mothership"

@Plivesey: I actually resisted buying Tropico, Civ IV and Empire Total War. I really wanted to buy them but realized I would never find time for those leeches.
