@RawSteelUT: I don't think that's true. Direct2Drive andSteam had huge sales over the holidays and their sales continue to be good. Sure the regular prices aren't great but hopefully they will come down.

@skaldicpoet9: Oh don't get me wrong. I really like having physical media. I really don't like the slow degradation of consumer rights. As long as there are consumer protections though and digital distribution results in lower prices then I am for it.
@chacocan: A very valid point. Prices for music has dropped since MP3 downloads began. I love being able to buy $5 MP3 albums from Amazon.
@RawSteelUT: not true. CD's have moved to digital distribution. Why won't games and movies?
@theturbolemming: adding additional fees to sellers doesn't help anyone just hurts consumers.
@kearneybobs: yeah, I don't buy things on steam unless it's a sale.
@Covertghost: not on an Xbox, you have to be logged into my account to play on it if your on a different xbox than it was originally downloaded on. If you try to access my account then I have to "recover" my gamertag which takes FOREVER(on purpose I suspect). So unless I don't want to play online or recover my…
Don't forget your friends can't borrow DLC games either. A huge blow to cheapo moochers like myself.
Like it or not digital distribution is going to take over sooner or later. Probably sooner. It's just far too profitable for developers and there is no incentive to keep the middle man. I'm okay with it as long as some of the savings gets passed on to me (steam sales are great) and as long as there are some…
It's a lot like football on monday. You're not going to make it through the day at the office without someone telling you the score so accept it and make sure you watch the game before the next day.
I do really appriciate the Space Quest games. It's been a really long time since I heard them mentioned. I'm trying to think of another game where you used a jock strap to solve a puzzle but I just can't. I also loved the line when you look at the star trek shuttle "some guy wearing a delco air filter on his face…
I've said for a long time that Star Trek is BS because if we had holodecks we'd never leave. I didn't think I'd see it in my lifetime but dangit there are warcraft widows out there. Our generation is happy to work at gamestop for minimum wage and live with 3 other roomates of the same gender if it means we can play…
@gojikan: Activision is ready to pump out all the peripheral based games you can handle just you wait.
@ph15h: I took it, can't believe it took you this long to notice. You don't deserve it.
@jer2110: I have FiOS. It works just dandy. I absolutely hate the customer service but the internet is good.
"...and I thought to myself 'a lot of people s*#@ with pens"
@Pheermee: That's like asking which is more important: peanut butter or jelly.
@deanbmmv: sweet sweet nectar. will join when I get home.
@kearneybobs: It enabled glass to break and shatter in pretty fashion and put cloth banners which the helicopter shoots up on the rooftops. The cloth things the helicopter shoots was pretty cool. It wasn't a game changer by any means though.
@kearneybobs: I probably should. Mirror's Edge looked great with it on. Problem is that it's a walking corpse now that OpenCL is fully supported by ATI and Nvidia.
