If you are eating pancakes every day then having packs of premix is worth it. If not then go for the ingredient way and you’ll not be having to worry about out of date mix as you’ll be using the ingredients in multiple different things between pancake binges.  

I always find it incredible when people don’t have basic baking ingredients/tools, but not everyone learned to cook and bake from scratch as children. 

I was just thinking this. I use to buy pancake mix, but making pancakes from scratch is barely more effort and its all pantry staples. 

I’ve cooked professionally since the 90s, and I have all of those ingredients in my home. I’ve made tens of thousands of pancakes from scratch over the years.

It is amazing to me how the poor always seem to have plenty of money for beer, cigarettes, and tattoos.
