I only knew there was a problem because I saw the article on Gizmodo. Internet worked fine for me all day too! And I’m in NYC, which was suppposedly more heavily affected.

I would have never known other than the articles on Giz.

Yeah, but “The Attack That Mildly Inconvenienced America’s Internet” just doesn’t have the same ring to it.

On Friday, I bought stuff from Amazon and got paid on Paypal. Didn’t notice a thing.

For such a huge, scary attack, it’s pretty incredible how easy it was to go on about my day (on the internet) normally and really not even notice.

I’ll have to remember this the next time one of my European friends tells me that America is a country populated by nothing but bible thumping buffoons. Maybe so. But when it comes to Mars landers we certainly know how to stick the landing.

Funny you say that, because Reznor himself has said the songs not his anymore, that Cash’s version is now the definitive version of the song, especially when you factor in he recorded it just 7 months before he died, and 3 months before his wife who also was in the video dies.

Not sure if this was intentional or a spell-check glitch, but if the former, I disagree - we clearly don’t have enough public discussion about Cardassians

That’s because ESA is in the business of space exploration and has been since the 1960's. It’s not about self-promotion.

That Johnny Cash though.
No, seriously, they hit it out of the park as far as setting a definable mood and atmosphere. So far it seems like 2017 will be a pretty good year for movies.

I’m hoping that too. A (less depressing) Mutant version of The Road would be fascinating.

Exact same boat here. The first Wolverine movie was a train wreck, the second couldn’t compel me into seeing it. This, though, is something I’m looking forward to. Mutants meet The Professional, maybe.

It would be awesome if they maintain the tone of the trailer.

My guess is they allow the audience time to think she is defenseless, and then at the perfect moment, she will go to Eleven.

Damn. I haven’t been remotely interested in Wolverine since the first X-Men movie debuted, and yet. What a solid trailer that was.

Huh. I don’t know if it’s the use of Hurt, the sad Logan, the elderly Professor X, how different it feels or a combination of all the above, but I am pretty sold on that. Yeah. I’m all in for LOGAN.

I want that on my tombstone.

“See you later savages.”

Epic.

Unpopular opinion, but I don’t like this Superman. I find him irritating.

I know I’m supposed to love him because smiling and winking but nope.

Nightwing and Static seem like perfect fits for their universe.
