Well, it was a nickname, but for a specific neighborhood in NYC, not a general name used for bad areas anywhere. There are lots of China Towns, but only one Hell’s Kitchen.

Looks like it was primarily being used as a battering ram to knock down doors. Otherwise you’d risk just sticking your fist or foot through them.

I think she’s great, so this isn’t a qualifier, but I do think a lot of this “she was the only good thing” sentiment is because we practically only get to see her in costume, being super.
