Personally it was the combined fuel filter and pressure regulator in my BMW F650GS. Get some bad gas, replace a $10 filter? Nope, you’re out a $100 regulator. Thankfully it was easy enough to add an inline filter on your own but, jeez.
Floppy disk save icon says hello.
When I was younger and dumber I bought a F650GS Dakar from a guy in Chicago in January and rode it back to Northeast Ohio. The high was 24F that day. The one thing I wish I’d had was a set of those hand muffs, even with heated grips. Everything else was manageable with copious layering.
The 5-speed in the Fit is trash. It has an overly-aggressive delay valve in the clutch master cylinder that makes it utterly maddening to drive if you’re used to a direct clutch. The stock clutch also chatters like crazy unless you feather the shit out of it.
Having ridden an Iron Butt (Austin, TX > Dayton, OH - 21 hrs, BMW F650GS Dakar) I can tell you that frankly, it’s just not worth it.
I’m usually all about the longroofs but this is CP just for the fact you can get a decent-enough Focus SVT for about the same money.
Oh, just a Honda fit living up to it’s name. All of this:
Well, besides the fact they make underperforming and overpriced cosplay accessories for weekend pirates/leather daddies.
So... what, if any, self-driving technology does it have?
It’s a lot easier to modulate the throttle while dragging the rear brake.
I’m as tall as the author, but with 2" shorter inseam. I toured around Mexico on a bike with a 34.5" seat with no real issue. The trick is to get used to one-foot down at stops. And probably hanging a cheek off the seat if you need a little more reach. The only thing I can flat-foot is cruisers but I’ve never lowered…
Did it get a hatchback feature? No? Pass, still.
Yup, this right here. In the rust belt a clean NA will start at $3-4k. Rusty ones are $2.5k.
Odyssey is *steeped* in Greek mythology. And history. And lore. It’s just fuckin’ packed.
HOW DARE YOU, SIR.
Amen! (I don’t have a top-down pic, for some reason...)
Why avoid the 380?
I *actually* cross-shopped these this year. Bought the Miata. (and kept a Honda Fit around for winter and anything larger than three bags of groceries)
Hey, at least this time we’ll actually find out what was purchased, right?
