@vostokoflove: This might be a dumb question, but just to be sure...your power supply is still good, right? Did you check the charger to make sure it's supplying power to the laptop?

Do you use custom orthodics/footbeds?

@miguelcervantes: I would recommended designing it in Photoshop/Fireworks first, then choosing a CMS once your design is complete.

What is your favorite home-cooked meal?

Ask your spouse, mother, or significant other what trait they think you should develop or improve.

@savvypenguin: I was planning on buying my wife a nice leather zip folio and using inserts from D*I*Y* Planner.

@TunaFish: When you are motivated to be a better person.

OK so...in-laws love Netflix. They use their laptop to stream videos more often than ordering DVDs. They would like to be able to stream movies on their LCD TV.

Where can I get a professional web design under $1000? (Design only, not coding)

@billy61: When I was shopping for my projector, I heard LCDs are more likely to produce the "screen door effect" but are better for gaming because of refresh rates. Not sure if this is still true...

@3 Laws of Robotics: Congrats on the frankenputers. Learning Linux can be both frustrating and rewarding!

@ku1185: I've used Crunchbang, Ubuntu, Mandriva, PCLinuxOS, Debian, UNR, and my favorite one for my Eee is Peppermint (Ubuntu-based)

@EClaus: Are the lines in series or parallel? If each line goes out to the demarc box you should just be able to attach the new wire and pull it through.

@shkm: Honestly, I actually kinda like the disposable straight razors. I have a vintage Black king solingen that I run across the strop and everything, but I prefer to use my cheapo one from Sally's.

@comodidit: Good suggestions. I'm gonna throw something else out there. You could always put the DSL modem in a location where a phone jack is already present. Then run network cable from the modem to the router, and put the router wherever you want.

@kettlewhistle: I wouldn't worry about it too much. Google hasn't updated PR since April.

@3 Laws of Robotics: I actually wrote a basic html file that gives them an overview of what's installed on their comp along with recommended maintenance instructions. It includes links. I tell them the html file is the ONLY one that should be in the My Documents folder. It also acts as my FAQ.

@van_line: PDF-XChange and Foxit. If you want an absolutely minimal featureless reader Sumatra is great.
