Yeah I had my Miata out in the tail end of the winter last year and aside from deeper snow, it was better than most cars.

I have Blizzaks on the Crown Vic this winter and I can't wait to test this out. I had no problem last year with fresh Goodyear Integrity LS's except in the stopping department but that was due to the simultaneous lack of ABS and brake feel.

In New York you can't get them at all. I was told by the DMV that anything below 1000CC of displacement is considered an ATV. I find that funny considering I've seen registered Beetles and Honda S600's with less displacement than that.

I had some guy put Valet Mode on in a 2.5L Cadillac ATS yesterday. I asked him why and he said "I how how you guys beat on these cars" to which I responded, "The 2.5 doesn't even have enough power to break the tires loose". The service manager surprisingly chuckled as I went about my day with no issues.

Reliability wise they're not bad. The only ones I ever see come for anything more than an oil change, have been modified and beat to shit. Even then they only break differentials.
