I did remember seeing a bunch of precision options for it... but that doesn't seem to be what the propaganda videos are pushing. I'm seeing a bunch of high altitude racket pod shots that I cannot believe have the resolution to hit a specific target. The SU-34 video showed off it's carpet bombing abilities. Were are

I think we should do the ultimate trolling of those bombers: Cessnas... flying wingtip to wingtip... pulling banner ads in Russian for Viagra, penis enlargement, and offers to speed up their navigations system. They would be flashing of course.

I've been starting to wonder... I see a lot of weapons firing, not a lot hitting. Even with that cool Sukhoi video recently, I saw a bunch of dumb bombs being dropped.

That is a very good question.

Eastern Europe is the white Africa. It's really hard to sympathise with ANY side in this conflict... Oooo, which crappy fascistic side will I choose? Almost as bad as the two party system here in the US, as far as choice goes.

Oh, they would have proof of sensor readings - that's the point - but they would have no targets. No point of origin for the weapon system that IS CLEARLY PAINTING THEM.

You know what would be REALLY fun? Coming up with some small, cheap, essentially disposable systems that mimicked various weapon systems... combined with a flare for IR and a different radar signature system for the "LOCK" signal. Basicly, a system to make Russian aviators shit their pants. Sprinkle them around

I'll bet Russia would LOVE to go fight Daesh... on the side of Assad of course. In fact, an armored brigade parked right on Israel's border would be super-awesome, along with filling the Syrian sky with Migs and Sukois running air defence and ground attack missions... right next to Turkey and Israel's borders.

Someday, in the not too distant future, they will develop a counter - and Iron Dome if you will - for standard artillery shells. One you can deploy a system in Seoul that can knock down the 1,000,000 artillery shells that are threatened to be unleashed, N Korea ceases to exist as a threat.

It's Littorals Battleship, silly!

While that was a fascinating article on a unique hull design, including fun details of cat & mouse intelligence gathering, I realized I in fact could not read the article because the following error was made in the third paragraph:

I'd say it demonstrates a lack of polish, not professionalism. You do have to accept a higher level of noise in the signal of this medium - it's a blog, not a print article

Yeeeaaaaa... no. I appreciate Tyler for his content and his original analysis. You want perfect grammar, spelling, links, and other edits? Pay him. STFU and pay him. You and every other grammer wussie who can't read and comprehend unless sentence structure is perfect and all grammatical rules are followed and all

The thing I find so interesting in how guidance has changed bombing: The reduction in bomb size.

Hey Tyler: Suggestion for another link talking about the Occulus Rift:
