Thanks - now my co-workers want to know WTH I’m laughing at so hard.

I actually laughed out loud at this.
I also vibrate like crazy with mechanical stimulus
Yeah people are cowards, and generally regressive. When they say they want futuristic stuff, what they mean is they want present-day stuff but nicer. This design isn’t necessarily quality, but it is Fucking Spectacular.
I get what you are saying. I love the i3 even though people gave me crap for having one. But you can see how the engineers had full control to design it right from the ground up, and it kept all those designs from concept to manufacturing. Interior has a really spacious dashboard, has a battery yet weighs under 3k…
My whole life I’ve wanted car companies to make their concept cars but they never do and I always wondered why. Well the comments show why, because people are full of crap. People say they want a futuristic car or something out of bladerunner. They say they want something unique but at the end of the day they buy a…
I think you posted the wrong photo.
“Why offer cheaper cars when we can just offer longer loans for more expensive cars?”
Well said. I have no inclination or guilt to even consider a Ford or GM product, though I have driven and liked their products overseas. I don’t have a need for $50K for an SUV, nor do I need one. Instead, I will actually take my 20 year old Montero off road camping and complete my errands in a 20 year old VW, all with…
Eh, maybe, but even if Ford and GM made a decent compact crossover (both the Trax and Ecosport are two of the worst vehicles sold in America today), they still wouldnt be as good as their competition. The Crosstrek and Kona are two of the better vehicles on the market today at that price range
Same. From an E36 compact, to a MKV Rabbit, and now a Fiesta ST I can confirm that my 6'3" self has no need or desire for bigger cars. Just wish Ford would have brought the latest batch of ST twins over, wouldn’t mind ‘sizing up’ to the focus st. Hell even the rumored/spied Puma ST would have been fun to cross shop
My problem with Ford was that instead of trying to figure out why we are inefficient and can’t make money on the tight stuff, we just swept it under the SUV margin rug. I’ve heard that Ford’s profitability is questionable on the Ecosport and Escape now too, so it’s all coming back to haunt them.
The only justification was as loss leaders, and that’s a damn expensive way to keep them in the brand.
US consumers: haven’t had a meaningful raise in decades.
In the case of Ford, the problem was there was too much overlap between the Fusion and Taurus... as well as too much overlap between the Fiesta and Focus.
As someone who has purchased a 2014 Fiesta (ST), 2018 Forte and will buy an 2019/2020 Impreza soon, I can confirm that small car owners do like to stay with what they know.
That means you’re doing it wrong.
If you’re talking about the regular Envoy vs the Envoy XUV, yes. The regular Envoy had a much shorter wheelbase that necessitated different rear doors and a different C-Pillar, much like the Yukon vs the Yukon XL. (I always thought the SWB Envoy looked like a budget Lexus GX 470).
You’re never going to get that couch up to your apartment anyway.
