I learned how to shut up a TON more, far too late for a lot of professional and personal mistakes in my younger days. If I’d kept my mouth closed on several occasions, I might have had some better opportunities. I’ve gotten better now, but still have a long way to go.

The notion that there are best and worst colors to paint your front door is ridiculous.  Now if you qualify that by saying for homes for sale then it might make sense.  Else paint the fucking door whatever color, or colors you want.

Don’t discount their experience. This person is 24 and has already had a handful of “long-term” relationships. Clearly, they’ve got it figured out.
