Those “rational people” tend to sympathize with an oversimplified narrative that tries to paint an oppressee/oppressor dynamic while ignoring all of the two sided history that got us to today. More recent discourse is the product of a communication strategy to paint Israel is a “white” group oppressing people of color

It’s crazy people think this. My wife and I have been to Israel multiple times with evangelicals and have never once heard them bring up the end times (besides when we were at Tel Meggido, to reference the fact that we were standing in the place know as Armageddon).

If they wanted to retire just after 2008 they shouldn’t have been so exposed to the stock market. If they followed basically every financial advisers advice and were more heavily invested in bonds then they could have still retired and left the money they had in stocks in stocks that would be performing very well now.

They’re also probably taking some money off the spread. Any thoughts on this?

What happened to just smoking a joint? Is that not cool anymore?

I really don’t care if I have to walk 200 extra feet. I’m a fast walker and will park wherever is easiest. I’m saving the closer spots for all the people that just NEED to be in the spot closest to the door. Have at it y’all. I’ve got a few decades before I’m one of you.

No. Take a spot at the edge of where the mass of cars is, so you won’t get any door dings and can easily pull-through instead of backing to leave.

How great they are. Because I would have had kids much earlier in life if I had known how much I like being a father.

Regarding the standard work week and commuting, WAY too many people are still commuting to work when they could work from home. Pretty much anyone in an IT related field could work at home at least 80% of the time, yet it seems like it is trending the other way. Myself, there’s literally NO reason for me to come into

I ride 3000+ miles a year. Primarily city/urban riding but some long distance riding in the countryside too. A few recommendations:

IMO, the basis for the answer is the same one as when you ask someone if they like their kids school. If you’re kid is doing great, you’ll probably say yes. If your kid is struggling, you’ll likely say no.

Read the comments. Saying how your life is better because you have kids/don’t have kids than your buds who don’t have kids/have kids is not how you make an argument. That’s how you start an argument.

I have a hard time separating this from my marriage that ended in divorce around two years after my kid was born. If I had a general do over I just wouldn’t have married that person and thus wouldn’t have the kid I do. However, my daughter is so awesome and the absolute best thing in my life so it would be nearly

Maybe they should be using rain tyres.

Please. That idea is wackawackawackawackawackawackawackawacka...

You’d have had a point if you didn’t post this in an article about Massachusetts. Massachusetts was the model for the ACA, meaning it mandates all residents to have insurance. So, the no insurance thing isn’t really an issue.

I think I’d rather not live in interesting times anymore.

This is very timely as my dad was recently diagnosed with a terminal disease and I stand to inherit 1/3 of the value of a 2006 Buick Lucerne with barely more than 100,000 miles on it...

If you can edit the oil, you should just edit it completely out and then you won't have to deal with it at all.
