Not at all surprising, its been hyped a lot in the MMO crowd, especially amongst those who have grown bored of WoW and are looking for the next thing.

Can someone explain to me why they still have two different versions of the pokemon games. I realise these are just remakes of the gold and silver games but in this day in age, what with Nintendo DS games running off microSD cards or whatever the format is, couldn't they just be combined into one?

I for one am glad that a great game is being brought to more platforms. Hopefully it does well on Mac. Hopefully they also get the same content as the PS3 version had for that price.

@Outkastprince: They could but i personally think it would be kind of silly since that then means that they are missing out on purchases from the current PSP user base.

Lame excuses really. I'm sure there are lots of solultions to the problem. I'm personally fond of an external UMD reader that could be hooked up to the PSPgo vial a cable, then could be ripped to the PSPgo, assuming its a legit copy.

I agree about price cuts but theres a huge difference between prices cuts, and then what Sony has done, and introduced the PS3 Slim, which is like relaunching the PS3.
