My apologies for digging up and sharing some interesting information with you. I hope that you are day isn’t completely ruined.

From a price point, Supra comes “fully” loaded at around $58K. You cannot buy any of the following at that price, brand new: GT350, Cayman, M2, C8 some even at base model.

You can’t take a heritage car and bring it back as a rehash of another brand’s car. There is no excuse for Toyota doing this. Toyota knows how to make a sports car, and even if they wanted to be totally lazy, they could’ve taken the Lexus RC and started there. 

So this whole crowd already knows what this car should be, compared to what it is. Dumping the manual and farming everything out to BMW sure makes business sense, but gearheads aren’t swayed by Toyota’s business sense.
