Even though I’m a grumpy old man in a Millenial body, I still do #youth things like use tumblr to meet up with classic Saab fanatics at Carlisle.

Audience. Audience. Audience.

“There’s something to be said about picking up a chick in this car,” Kurdziolek says. “It’s cool and loud and aggressive. You don’t even have to hear her. You don’t even need music.”

youth culture can [something mildly offensive] as far a I’m concerned

“The thriving platforms for younger car buffs tend to be virtual — the Jalopnik blog (slogan: “Drive Free or Die”), or autoextremist.com.”

Your response solidified (an already really damn solid foundation) why I dig the rally community.

For some clarification, I'm the owner of the car and Chris rented a co-drive from me. The wheel and lugs are all oem, and were torqued properly. In an earlier run, while I was driving, we caught a rut and the wheel bent some at the hub, but was not interfering with the brakes, so we went with it. That may have been a

For mastering the E Brake, let me give you a story. It was late at night, and I was slightly intoxicated while driving with some friends in the city. I went to get on the interstate (which was elevated above the city streets) only to realize the entrance I was going on was actually an exit, with several cars heading

If anything with the vast majority of vehicles in the US being automatic, left foot braking should be the default way of

True story.

It's so cold in Michigan time actually slows. So there are actually 40 months in Michigan. 37 of winter, then as time begins to thaw it goes faster resulting in 3 months of normalized time before the year actually ends for them.

"5) LFB - This should be done away with as well. Proper tuning and sized turbos should make this a thing of the past. Gone are the days where lag is a must."

Which is good, because winter in Michigan is like 37 months long...

Great article. And number one is why AWD manuals are so fun to drive.

Some people would call this thinning the herd.

No offense, but I'm worried that tons of people are going to go out and try the Scandinavian Flick in their Honda Fits or Fiat 500s and absolutely flip the car.

It can be easier that way, although it becomes more 'bigtoe-pinkytoe'ing than 'heel-toe'ing. A lot of race drivers will twist their foot to the side and do it this way rather than spin their foot to get just their heel over to the gas pedal....if that makes any sense at all.

My wide-ass size 13 feet pretty much prevent me from hell-toeing in most cars

I'd argue this:

Makes me want to drive the Viper ACR. Or try lol
