I will not stand for this slander of the 3800.

It’ s special order only, of course it wasn’t going to sell :/
For context:
Hopefully this means they’ll go back to long, low three-box sedans that look like they were designed in 1968.
My father lost his windshield to a deer on his ‘14 f-150. Insurance wanted to use an aftermarket windshield but he fought and paid the difference to get o.e.
Needs to at least have some room behind the seat. Doesn’t need to be an extended cab with rear doors and seats, just a foot or so of extra room. So shorten the cab by 2 feet, and lengthen the bed to 6.5 feet.
Nope, Bone-Stock as required by SCCA rules in the day. Mine was extremely early US-spec (mfg Feb 2001), so maybe something they slipped in later so they could continue to cheap-out on OEM tires...
You can get a lot of places with good tires, decent ground clearance, and careful driving (and spotting). Not that you should.
I’ve always used flashers any time I was forced to travel dramatically below the speed limit on the highway (mechanical issue, running out of gas, thick fog, heavy rain) and it seemed that other cars were still moving at higher speeds. That seemed like a good way to indicate slow-moving travel to other cars that…
How exactly is that cruiser justified in ramming an already-disabled vehicle? How’s that not using an automobile as a deadly weapon?
I hate the wheels and the fitment of said wheels, but otherwise it’s pretty cool.
My impression is that this looks cool as a purely theoretical construct. In reality, it’s probably going to look like shit because the entire length of your dashboard is now going to be constantly dusty and smudged with fingerprints, creating too much ambient interior light for nighttime driving, and probably…
Kinda true. When I drive box trucks for my company, cars do all kinds of dumb stuff around me. I mean, I don’t blame you for not wanting to be stuck behind a giant wall that is scrupulously obeying the speed limit (and also telling you that “The price of solar has dropped 74% in the last 10 years!”) but it’s not worth…
Hard disagree. That 6 series still looks ugly.
That’s like calling the paparazzi and letting them know where you plan on having dinner. It’s lame.
What generation SHO did you have? I had a Gen1 and a Gen2, and although the ABS pulsed slower than some systems, I never had it actually ‘turn off’.
Knowing some top name professional drivers, this is 100% correct. They are absolutely told they can not do or to stay away from certain riskier activities. However, this particular incident I imagine falls in some sort of weird grey zone, either way they wont be happy
Track would not be nearly as beneficial as road. Improperly trained track cycling is also way more dangerous than road.
A bit of a pet peeve, but the road didn’t crash the car, the driver did.
Well, one of them is anyway.
