Around here it tends to be all the cars that use high beams for DRL’s. So these morons are driving around with high beams on and no taillights.

I *regularly* see people driving around after dark with no headlights on. Not even DRLs, just nothing. How they manage to survive the day without choking to death on their own tongues, I have no idea. I keep reading comments and then scrolling up to the picture to see what the hell people are talking about. I don’t see what the hell people are talking about!

The new Lincolns are so nice. They managed to turn a brand that I haven’t thought about in 20 years, into something I want to purchase.

The challenge of renewable energies is storage. Hydrogen is a storage method. Without it this boat can only work when it’s sunny or windy. What you’re doing is the same as saying “the Prius is dumb because it does not need huge batteries: it has an engine and fuel tank!”

This one is tough to me. Very few people would really use the full merits of an SUV on a regular basis unless they were essentially a school bus. I know my family got plenty of use out of our old Durango when my brother and I were kids and we played hockey and had bags full of gear.

I always enjoy the idea that “hipsters” are disdainful of SUVs. The big problem with SUVs is the size and weight magnifies the sloppy and assholish behaviors that even the best driver has, which is aggravated by the fact most people can’t drive the fucking things.

They’re not. The point of multiple brake lights is visibility and redundancy. Relying on one high-mounted brake light while hazards are one has no redundancy.
