If by “reliably” you mean “unreliably,” then yes, it can.

If you’re a lesbian living in Washington it’s the only choice really

shhh. let’s ignore all the horrible things China’s government has done. Orange man bad!!!

I’m far from a fan of Trump, but ALL press coverage of this situation paints China as some innocent party that is being bullied by Trump.  Just a little bit of research will show that although I don’t agree with Trump’s methods, the status quo on China trade is not tenable.

I do find it weird to read all these Spin Pieces on a concept that has previously been floated by multiple administrations without all the cat-calls.

Just doing some quick math here, assuming it’s around what they currently sell for, it’d be around $93K +TTT, so... $105K, plus some options, which means you’d likely land around $115K. Since Audi’s tend to age like a fine... uhm, bread... let’s assume it’s going to be worth $48K in 36 months.

I feel like this better sums up what I was getting at. One of the nice things about government is that you can more easily deprecate a standard than you can in private industry.

We had something like that in the Pontiac G8. Bigass LS3, 400+ ponies, four doors and a six speed manual. Won’t find that at the Hertz counter.

Meanwhile Porsche will ask you for $45,000 to take your radio out of the car. Lightweight is good and all, but if I’m actually using the car for anything but track driving, some creature comforts are nice to have.

“The steel gray, $25,000ish tester I drove early on didn’t even have navigation, which I think is kind of a crime for any new car in 2019.”

Exhibit 1: “the officer pulled in behind the shuttle as it was dropping off passengers”

Exhibit 2: “Unlike Waymo’s driverless taxis in Arizona, the May machines require an operator to be at the helm for the duration of the ride.”

Mister Tracey turns rotten, moldy lemons that have been sitting in the sun for a week into lemonade that would make an angel cry. I honestly envy his optimism, sometimes.

So he built a Ridgeline?

Yes, but the Coasties are friendlier when they do it

You know it’s bad when Russia is stopping you for safety violations. That’s like Saudi Arabia criticizing you for human rights abuses.

“Sanctions approved by the U.N. Security Council prohibit the export of goods, including coal, to North Korea.”

This is like the exact opposite of FCA skunkworks. Interior appointments, nice stitching? Who cares, add power. Then when you’re done, add more power.

Can you imagine the NSX team being told “hey, you see those TLXs over there? Go get your drills & paint guns and get to work bolting on

So basically they aren’t selling any NSXs and got tired of a bunch of high priced engineers sitting on their hands.
