It seems wildly inaccurate to say steelers fans are bandwagon fans, at least any more than any other team.

I thought it was Brad.

Yeah, this is what all the “I don’t wear deodorant” folks say as well, but they stink.

kittykorner.

Today was the first day I clicked on it. On facebook I can unfollow someone after the 15th time someone posts a picture of a meal so I stop seeing them, not here :(

the issue is that ‘from the side or back’ is normally with respect to the torso, but really what matters from a ‘defenseless receiver’ perspective is what way their head is facing, right? I mean the guy was running towards burfict, but facing towards the QB. He was totally defenseless, he had no idea burfict was

this is like that 365 days of kristin thing. every time i see this i’m surprised it’s still going on. lifehacker should add a way to ignore series of posts like this.

I would not make that assumption, there’s many shades of grey between ‘having a notebook that you carry around with you and track everything’ and ‘completeless clueless / making is up as you go’.

These are all the reasons I’ve never gone to a yoga class.

Sounds like a business opportunity!

The reference I’m using does define ideological racism that way, just the examples it provides are specifically ones that are particularly harmful. “It refers to world views, beliefs, and common sense ideas that are rooted in racial stereotypes and biases.” Everyone has racial stereotypes and biases that affect

I don’t know that people reject the sociological definition of racism as much as they reject being called racist. The sociological definition of racism is applicable to a nuanced discussion on race, and less applicable to just calling someone a racist.

The problem with calling ‘all white people’ racist, is that you’re grouping people who have some minor biases or lack of knowledge towards people of a certain race under the same umbrella term as people who actively hate and act in malice towards people of that race.

Nobody called people who supported the repeal of the ACA Nazis, nobody called people who supported roll-backs of the Volcker Rule Nazis, nobody called people who were hawkish on ISIS or who wanted to build a stupid wall a Nazi.

I have, yeah. No doubt it’s a great experience compared to coach. It’s just the difference in comfort on the plane isn’t worth that much to me, compared to the hassle of traveling w a suit all day.

“Travel much” is of course relative. I’m not a consultant gone mon-thurs every week if that’s what you mean. I take probably 20 flights per year, about half for business.

Eh, I’m 6' 190lbs. Never had any issues in coach. Obviously it’s not super comfortable, but also not particularly bothersome. I’d certainly never pay extra for first class. To each their own I guess.

I’ll take “shorts and a tshirt in coach” over “suit and tie in first class” any day. It’s not just the flight itself, it’s traveling to the airport, through the airport, through the airport again, and traveling from the airport, all of which are way more manageable in leisurewear.

It’s not reasonable to delay specialization to 15-16. By the time you’re 13/14 entering HS, you have to be dedicated to one sport (or be an otherwise unreal athlete). At least for soccer, if you want to be a competitive player in HS (ie getting decent playing time on varsity) you’ve gotta be playing year round, and

the flap laying on the water prevents water from splashing, whether its attached to the seat cover or not.
