Actually two weeks ago I went in to Verizon to see how much it would cost to cancel my plan (turns out - A LOT). So I need to wait until my contract is up before considering a switch, but I did manage to reduce my plan by $40 by cutting a few unnecessary extras.

probably anything except finance :D

does anyone know where you can watch past seasons of the bachelorette? it’s crazy the internet is like completely scrubbed of past seasons, but they’ve gotta be somewhere right?

finally, someone with linguistics creds to back me up in this argument.

I feel like one of these days I’m going to understand what ‘woke’ means.

a graduated tax rate is no easier or harder to game than a flat tax rate.

the short answer would be: determining taxes as a flat rate by income is a bad idea because living expenses are not determined as a flat rate by income.

Man, I fucking love watching people who aren’t in the 1% fight against taxes on the 1%.

Or, you put your square cheese on the round burger, while on the grill, specifically so that the corners melt off. Then you take the burger off the grill and you’ve got a burger thats perfectly form-fitted by cheese...

(seriously, that was a pathetic comment.)

lol, yeah that was great. miller was so excited he thought he finally had something, like a dog with a bone.

looks like someone read freakonomics

I don’t understand how ‘how much shit you keep per kid per year’ is related to back-to-school shopping... and, relatedly, as a new dad, am I actually expected to keep my son’s old assignments? seems like a waste of space.

Bah missed that you actually mentioned Acorns in your article, could have saved half a sentence :D

I never use cash, so I never have change. Nearly a year ago, however, I signed up for acorns.com which rounds up your CC transactions and then invests the round-ups. Last month was $42. It’s kind of fun, but every few months I invest any money I have over X balance in my checking so I don’t think it actually

what a stupid article. some people can wear shorts to work, some people can’t. this is so exceedingly obvious that it blows my mind someone would write an article saying otherwise.

everyone’s different, but when I start letting excuses (or even reasons) govern whether I work out, it’s all down hill from there. I have no willpower so if I think ‘not going on my run’ is an option, I’ll come up with a reason to not go.

seems like a weird question. isn’t Amazon the world’s worst place to work? both in the warehouses and in the offices.

Valve suppressed the game from appearing on it’s platform, and it was done because people complained it was obscene. What’s wrong with you?

“I’m not sure how I’m feeling. I’m down to start making out and see where it goes.” If you don’t end up getting turned on, you don’t have to keep going.
