I’m not sure showing off my cleverness (and I am quite clever, thank you) does anyone much good in this context

On the other hand, there are those where a “short face to face” would drive them over the edge quicker, and escalate what could have been just a long, drawn out harassment that would have given plenty of time otherwise to collect evidence.

To be fair, Armond White exists.

Now playing

It’s probably a sampling error, or jokers just giving random answers, or it’s these guys.

I find Will Farrell good in Stranger than Fiction, and barely tolerable in Elf.  That is the beginning and end of his film catalogue for me.

Yeah, the worst thing Randy Quaid did was (just from memory) destroy somebody’s house, and go all crazy conspiracy.  Let’s not lump him in with a serial sexual predator.

I work in an involuntary medical detox facility, where it’s crucial that we document people’s words accurately and without censorship. This includes all manner of racial slurs, and on at least one occasion, a confession to a murder. These do go to court, where we are required to read the words we document. Am I still

The first one was also a better movie. The 2nd was still good, but the first had a smooth, stylish, visceral style that didn’t quite carry over to the second one, which was a bit more chaotic.

I’m still trying to figure out how, if he was still to be involved, it was going to be a reboot?

I was just thinking of Disturbing Behavior while reading this. I even watched it about a year ago, because I remember it fondly from my teen years.  And while it definitely works with some of the same tones and themes, and even ends on a pretty dark note, it sadly has not held up nearly as well as the Faculty.

Such a great film. I return to it about once a decade, and it always holds up.

That’s what I really don’t get.  If I were her father, I would bend over backwards doing what I needed to stay a part of her life, just to stay included and get the tiniest hint of that life rubbing off on me.

Fuck that, and fuck them. I don’t give a shit if they’re easy to find now. The artificial scarcity early on pissed me off enough that I’m never buying into these classics lines.

It doesn’t make what border patrol did okay, but if she had untreated sepsis for days, she was probably going to die, even if they’d personally delivered her directly to an emergency room. I’ve dealt with sepsis several times in my career, and that shit is deadly serious.

He’s absolutely lying about that number.  If you watch the video, he takes a beat, and then just blurts out “Five!” like it sounds impressive.

To be fair, most people can’t name a president before Eisenhower, with the exception of Lincoln and Washington.  You think they’re going to recognize the one who got impeached?  Shit, I mixed him up with Jackson for a minute, and that’s the fucker that committed racial genocide.

I was all set to come down in the middle on this, because these sites usually ignore rational state actions when it comes to incarcerated individuals.  But fuck that.  She was sold as a fucking sex slave, and killed the man who bought her?  Give her a fucking medal, and lock up every motherfucker responsible for

I mean, the grunts on the ground probably weren’t all 100% evil fuckers.  A lot of them were probably just trying to do the best they could to protect their homeland, while a maniac was at the helm (hmm...).  Even Oskar Schindler was a member of the Nazi party.

Holy shit! Sherloque is Thawne! There’s no way that “clever girl” line was unintentional. That would be a total Thawne move too, to disguise himself as another quirky, but innocuous Wells to sneak back into Team Flash’s ranks.

I mean, regardless of your opinion on Biden (and I like him) he’s not wrong.  He was VP, and a very involved one, so he has direct experience and knowledge with the executive branch.  As much as Harris or Booker would be my preference, that does still make him more qualified.
