Nirvana would not be as big as it is, if Kurt hadn’t killed himself.  I’m not a huge fan, though I don’t outright dislike them.  That said, Unplugged is transcendent, and I would rank it as one of the best rock albums of all time.

About 9 years ago I was struck with a mystery illness that required several MRIs and CT scans, two lumbar punctures, and what felt like gallons of blood drawn over the course of months. The illness remained a mystery, but was MOSTLY successfully treated.

I watched a season an a half of AoS (well past the “twist”), and it was trash through and through.  My wife continued watching for several seasons after that, and even she can’t bring herself to admit that it’s in any way a “good” show.

Amazon is treading on thin ice with me right now. I pre ordered Dying Light 2 months ago (before they discontinued the 20% discount too) , and a couple weeks back they just straight up canceled my order. I was not pleased. 

Oh God, the Mentalist. I bailed on that the instant he killed Red John (but not really!) I have zero tolerance for that bullshit anymore. 

Literally the only way I bother with this is if Trubel is the lead. Grimm was the definition of wasted potential, and she was just about the only thing I found remotely engaging. 

Have you seen the ads out there? That's a serious question. We're back to early 2000's level of popup/hijacking ads. I've literally been unable to read entire articles because ads keep redirecting my entire browser if I don't have a blocker on. 

Caveat, I’m a dad, but it’s of a fairly new 7 month old. I’d put a hard limit on breast feeding on when they start forming permanent memories. To save on future psychiatrist bills at the minimum. 

I don’t understand how many people think this was about proving herself right. This was about defusing a talking point. Time will tell if she was successful or not, but if she hadn’t done this and still ran in 2020, this is the ONLY THING we would have heard about her.

I’m not a big fan of the original (I know, I know), but when I found out Villeneuve was making this one, I had to go see it in the theater. After Sicario and Arrival, he’s an amazing director, and he’s got my attention for anything he puts out.
