Huh, hadn’t noticed that. All the more reason to go renew my GCU at Best Buy. At least that applies to all new purchases, not just new releases or pre-orders.

Uh, I have a 55" 1080p set, and I can read it just fine. Sounds like the doctors did a shitty job with your prescription.

I will always shake my head at how many people don’t get that Tyler Durden was the villain in that.

Wait... When was Incubus nu-metal?

I’m not even out of my 30s yet, and I don’t fucking understand this world anymore.

When the dividing line is dead school children, disagree all you want. You’re on the wrong fucking side.

Jesus. You’re either a troll or a simpleton, if that was all you were able to take from Geraldine Blank’s post.

God, if I have the option the balcony is a godsend. If it’s GA, you can be damn sure I’m making a beeline straight there to get a front row too, because you know some dipshit is going to stand up in the balcony, even though it’s a goddamn GA show and she can just move down to the floor and get closer to the band, but

Jesus, I had completely forgotten this show. But now I remember how wracked with anxiety I was every time they went into the game. And watching a minute or two of that clip brought back every ounce of that anxiety.

That’s kind of the point though. They HAVE treated Apu quite well over the years. But rather than acknowledging how they could have done better, while at the same time holding up how well they’ve treated him, they chose the laziest, most defensive option, and held up a giant middle finger to their critics.

When said 30-year-old TV show is still on the air making new episodes, you can’t hide behind the fact that it’s 30-years-old, when it fails to be a little bit more thoughtful in it’s representation.

And there’s the internet mentality in a nutshell. Nobody is giving him a fucking “pass” for this. The adults in the room just recognize that this was three goddamn decades ago. And absent any recurring behavior indicating that abuse is a recurring behavioral problem, this isn’t a situation requiring public

If she’s legitimately the #2 in this cult, she may be a victim, but she’s also a perpetrator and needs to answer for what she’s done.

People are fucking idiots. I’m a goddamn EMT on the WEST COAST, and I get called a fascist/Nazi/pig/etc. on at least a weekly basis.

I dunno about TRU, but KB was struggling for over a decade, and went through multiple (as in at least 3, possibly more) restructurings to keep their head above water. Unless Bain was there for the very first one, I doubt we can blame them for the KB toys shitty business practices.

So... When are we progressives going to pull our heads out of our asses and realize that calling it “white privilege” is accomplishing nothing but pissing people off, and turning away potential allies? It’s shorthand for a very complicated subject, and it’s been framed in the most aggressive way possible. I recognize

Date that 2016, and you sound exactly like a “moderate” Trump supporter.

I’m not against superdelegates in principle. Party insiders should have a voice in deciding who their candidate should be. But there should be rules that prevent them from declaring before the first primary has even happened, effectively sealing the vote.

If you’re just racking up kill-notches, sure. But presumably, the people who are into Purging™ would want that up-close and personal experience.

He’ll definitely get a primary challenger, but I don’t think a sitting president has ever lost his party’s nomination going into the general. But it has weakened them, and I think every single one that faced a challenger in their primary went on to lose their second term.
