Non-SW fanatic here. I enjoyed it, but wasn’t blown away. Should have been 30 minutes shorter. The fan nods were excessive and unnecessary. Main cast was really good, but under utilized.

Once you’ve graduated to killing people, my sympathy for your shitty upbringing evaporates. We all have to turn into adults responsible for our own actions at some point.
Doesn’t really matter, either way. If the electoral college actually overturns the will of the people for the first time in the history of the nation, even if it’s to steer clear of the train wreck of a Trump administration, and gives it to Clinton, we’re going to see bloodshed in the streets.
To be clear, midazolam is not some super secret, cryptic and unheard of drug, despite what articles like this would have us believe. Also called versed, it is extremely common in use in ambulances and hospitals across the nation.
We’re going to have another 9/11 level terror attack under this fucking orange buffoon, and the GOP is going to blame it all on Obama. I can see it now.
Let’s think this through though: what would you have been happy with him actively and openly doing? The instant he comes out in support of the protesters and tries to stop the pipeline, it becomes a bipartisan issue, and you now have every Republican in the country demanding the pipeline be built.
Let’s be fair here, Martha Jones was bland and poorly written.
I’m not well read enough to pick up on all this literary allusion myself, but I fucking love that the people behind the show are, and put so much love and attention to detail into it.
This show, you can’t trust what you don’t see. And if the person is a host, you can’t even trust what you do see. I’m guessing, if MiB is William, he doesn’t rape her after dragging her into the barn (given the “Let’s start at the beginning” line), but is rather his attempts to isolate her and keep prodding her into…
So, am I the only one not taking this story at face value? There is no fucking way a human being working in customer service goes into panic room lockdown mode just because a black man enters the premises and tries to buy something. I don’t care if you’re the grand dragon of the KKK, and also a 98 pound weakling. …
Yeah! It’s the millennials that ruined this! It’s not like the DNC rigged the system to force a deeply flawed and unlikable candidate who’s always been terrible at campaigning on the American populace because “it was her turn.” No, let’s blame the millenials instead!
“Relatively sane boring republican like Paul Ryan”
This is on Hillary. This should have been any easy win for her, but she fucked it up like she always does. People like to harp on her 30+ years of experience, but the truth is, she’s only won one elected position, and she had to effectively find a vacant seat in order to get that.
And since this is Italy, they’ll probably start imprisoning LGBT+ for causing the quake now.
As long as you’re letting management know that’s why you’re leaving. When I still worked retail, *makes sign of the cross* I had my share of customers do this, but they rarely told anyone but me, the grunt.
From what I’ve heard, it’s a uniquely American thing too. Other countries find the forced cheerfulness with strangers to be really offputting, and generally have a neutral but helpful disposition instead.
It’s official: the whiners have officially stripped “appropriation” of any nuance or meaning.
Oh yeah. There was a freakanomics podcast a few weeks/months back about Libertarians & Johnson specifically that I listened to/raged at. In it, Johnson said he didn’t actually think it was a bad idea for people to get licensed to drive, and he got roundly booed by everyone in the room.
I really don’t like Hillary, but Jesus I would love it if Trump were the reason for Texas to finally turn blue.
