Nevermind that TC has been on long enough now to have a Real World/Road Rules-esque cache of people willing to pop in here and there to judge, guest, etc - especially since they move the show around the country so much.

I think this might be why the pandemic season was so full of generally upbeat people - a lot of them seemed to be stalled out of their current endeavors and didn’t have show stress and daily life stress (mentally).
This may be anecdotal, but I feel this may have something to do with fewer and fewer contestants who are “trained” chefs (i.e. went to culinary school) and more chefs who just got into it for a love of food, through family kitchens, etc. (I decided to link this to how astronomically expensive a top tier culinary…
I imagine these laws, while mostly unenforceable, will make it much, MUCH easier for parents to complain/sue school systems if their little snowflakes find out racism exists and their ancestors may have been part of the problem.
His attitude when saying not to threaten her is COMPLETELY undercut by the fact that, in the sentence that precedes the absolute minimum he could possibly say (“Leave her alone, please”), he says “I don’t have time for this.” So not only does he not legitimately tell them to stop, he puts MORE onus on HER for existing…
I had no idea what she was about until she started sending my kid a book a month for FIVE YEARS!!! That program is amazing and I wish more people took advantage of it!
Made them once with basically egg whites, a little cheddar, some cottage cheese, onions, peppers, and some deli ham.
Bingo. It took a global pandemic for a ton of people to realize they can’t handle/don’t like/shouldn’t have had kids.
My parents do this crap to my sister (who is in her mid-30s) all the time to the point that I think she buys into it. Not surprising as they have been doing it her entire life.
No such thing as an ex-cop. Just a cop who doesn’t work for a department anymore.
Oh, Zooming from the office is DEFINITELY a thing. Just ask any teacher who has had any meeting or professional development over the past 2 years...
Fun story about my time in a public charter school in NC:
If you’ve ever read the early chapters of Eliison’s “Invisible Man,” a very similar scene happens where a group of black men are forced to do this - only the mat is electrified and they’re vying for money to pay for schooling. To boot, the audience is upper echelon white men and community leaders.
Better yet: make cops do this to buy basic supplies for their jobs.

Don’t worry. When NFTs first came out, I was confused as to why we could see them because I assumed the allure was some kind of secrecy. Like, if you bought one, no one could see it (I thought this because of the whole copy/paste thing - so I assumed in order to avoid that, you just wouldn’t show them to anyone on the…
To that effect, I think Porsches are stupid and ugly too, so anyone trying to flex by having one does not impress me in the least.
Real world example: I have an artist friend who draws for Magic. In his contract with them, they allow him to sell originals (not prints) of his art/characters (even ones he uses for their game cards). He does well enough with what he makes from Magic, but he has also developed a small fandom who pay INSANE money for…
Had a similar experience when I booted up my modded OG Xbox to find a ton of pre-youtube era music videos, adult swim episodes, literal home movies, and early internet “viral” videos (“Whistles go WOO”; Tree Leprechaun, etc).
I’ve viewed it as more of a brewery thing... like, “don’t like beer? Don’t want garbage wine? Still wanna get drunk? Seltzer it is!”
