Residential code has nothing to do with it. But yes it would likely be impossible to convert them to residential.

The problem is that that those RenCen buildings were not built to residential code. Fewer wet walls, fewer outlets, less insulation, et cetera.

The internal structure of the Ren Cen is such that it would be obscenely expensive to try to convert any of the towers to residential. It would be more cost effective to simply demolish the building and rebuild, which is what should be done.

And we thank GOD it’s not (NYC or Boston)! They’ve already done a cost analysis on the conversion to residential and it will cost TOO much. They’ve moved on to diff possibilities.

I think OCP should move in.

i think this is right, reason i bought in 2019.  bring me that sweet, sweet appreciation - joking, ill be driving mine till it or i die.

Ok. I’m glad I’m not the only one. It’s been “out” for like two years and I haven’t even seen one on a dealers displays. Does this car actually exist??

exactly. As my mom aged, she started worrying about not having enough money to leave for her children. I told her that she should spend every dime and try to leave this earth with a $0 balance in her bank. She and my dad worked hard to earn that money and they had every right to enjoy it.

I have yet to see a new Z, and I live in FL where retirees come to spend their children’s’ inheritance the money they saved during their career on playthings.

The Mustang II

Same here. I was ungrayed for a while, then grayed again recently. At this point I am only here out of force of habit.

Non-sporting convertibles are nothing new. These cars are just the modern version of this:

There is nothing wrong at all with non-sporting 4 or more seat convertibles. Everything is better on a nice day with wind in your hair.

Buick Rendezvous

This and the Caliber. Both just horrible.

As frequently as Hyundais and Kias get stolen, have recalls or engine failures, I’m surprised they’re doing as well as they are too.

The Ford EcoSport. Who was the target audience for that pitiful thing? They could have just put AWD on a Fiesta and called it a day.

Dodge Dart. I sold some of these new about a decade ago. They were a POS from the start. We had issues with them while they were on the lot and it didn’t get better after someone drove one home. The seats were uncomfortable and way to narrow for an actual butt. The DCT and 1.4 Turbo were an awful pairing. The engine

The Dodge Avenger is such a hatefully awful car, representing the worst parts of “Chrysler” and every name the company has been under during my lifetime, which is 5 if my count is correct.

Future Me says the Cybertruck.
