Good grief.

Man, that is the least of its problems... I know all EU is now all gone, but the Falcon Millennium design had a very neat justification, not using it was lazy, and the result is not good.

Gimme a break!

I mean, he’s cool but rude

Agreed, but I didn’t want the kid arrested or mom fined. She had enough issues without me piling on more. I just wanted him to stop.

Except this is also the time and age of “The ending of [movie] explained” videos all over YouTube. It’s like people can no longer take the time to think about things and read between the lines.. They need everything spoon fed and explained in the form of a wikipedia article.

Tried to watch it, but dude kept calling it “Super Mario Bros (as in, “bros,” not “brothers”), and I was out. Mario and Luigi are brothers. Get it right, bro!

To be honest the Cloverse is more of a fixup than anything else. There’s no reason why these movies have to be related, it’s just a quick (and admittedly, fairly clever) way of retroactively building a franchise. Sort of like the big reveal at the end of Split. (Now if Shyamalan can work a thrty-year-old Cole Sear

Sure seems that way, which would be different for the MCU. Maybe Hank, Hope, Scott and Lilly show up to save the day at the end of Infinity War and the entire Ant-Man movie is framed as Luis’ retelling of how everyone made it there.

“And then they threw a giant Pez at a biker!”

I’m convinced that Abrams will not only bring back Snoke, but that he will also reveal that Rey is in fact a genetic cocktail of all the great Jedi masters from the past, Skywalker, Kenobi, Gon-Jin, Windu, Fisto, Binks, Hood, Dooku, Crumb, R4-D4 etc ...

Instead of fucking about with promotion that 95 percent of people won’t notice?

Another viral website from the ongoing ARG

Rock music is dead right now so yeah it’s not going to go over well with anyone under 30

Has anyone thought... maybe he’s right?

Dear Ardent,

Hastings’ comments about Bright are a classic example of a studio executive (or any filmmaker really) making that ridiculous argument that critics somehow can’t be fans and that “real fans” are the only people capable of appreciating films. That’s simply not the case. The fact of the matter is that Bright fails

This has been my experience as well. I haven’t gotten around to watching the movie yet, but everyone I personally know who has seen Bright has not only enjoyed it immensely, but has recommended it enthusiastically. So it’s somewhat amusing for me to see commentary like this that seems to access a hivemind which is

Also, I think more people would like Bright better without putting the “social commentary” weight on it. I don’t think the film goes out of it’s way to address it more than any other “Cop-on-the-run” movie does. It takes place in a fantasy world that’s like our own. I think the social commentary aspect is on the edges

I think the movie is a hit because of revolt against all the so-called movie critics. You guys are taking movie way too serious. You can’t expect a new movie is always better than a movie comes out a week before. To common people, Bright is a fun movie, people get a kick out of it. We got fantasy in a modern society!
