I could do with Katamari Damacy, for it couldn’t have been done anywhere else than Japan: its the perfect association of a WTF idea, cute visual and sounds, and an unmistakably Japanese soundtrack, all put to good effect in order to deliver a compelling gameplay.
I am the proud owner of two Shintaro Kago tattoos and absolutely love them. While I really enjoyed Suehiro Maruo and the like when I was younger because it was something crazy you just don’t find in North American culture, I have found myself getting way more into Kago’s style.
