I had the pleasure of watching this ep with the crowd at the Paley Center panel and it was quite entertaining. Lots of laughter, from the wig room reveal, the daily milkshake craziness, to the Archie shirtless reveal and the OG threesome walking into the dance shot. Based on crowd reaction to both CB & MP, everyone

I honesty have never really compared the two shows, I still don't really see it. It's an ensemble comedy but there are a sh*tton of workplace sitcoms. That being said, I was so happy for Sandra!! You go, Sandra! And I LOVED the bits where they showed again how well matched Bo and Cheyenne are, and the moments with

Answer announced 4.25.17: Mark Consuelos!

Sarah, may I recommend Runaways? It's the only comic I've read the whole way through and read as it was released. Fortunately at my store the owner was super cool (and I assume still is, I don't go back since Runaways finished and the expense like you said).

Gotcha, I get what you're saying now!

I'm confused by your comment. They told Alice Joaquin is Kevin's boyfriend.

Oh!! Maybe the bright red lipstick is part of the Maple Syrup Blossom Cult thing! And Alice knows! Hmmm… (btw kindof joking and kindof not here)

"I am sorry that sexually harassing girls had. consequences!" Oooh, snap back Dark Betty!

True, true, good call but I feel like Mr. Boothe is very Texan and Hiram should exude New England/Wall Street sleeze, if that makes sense.

Every bit of Jughead being an ass was earned IMHO. Another thread was talking about Betty not knowing when his bday was if they were childhood friends but that was very deliberate on Jughead's part. He didn't want them to know! As you said, he seems (up until now) to be pretty good at separating his home life from

One thought I had last night with Hiram being mentioned so much and with the appearance of The Ringwald is - who are they going to cast as Hiram?! Or have they cast someone already?! I'm super curious now!

one thing they really need to do in S2 is beef up Kevin's role, Casey is more than capable. I love the one liners but nope. I'm hoping that when the Joaquin reveal is made he'll actually get some plot.

Yes, Archie was a bad friend and selfish as well. There were several beats where he protested but he didn't take the extra step to really put his foot down. I'm glad Jughead called him out on it.

Yep, especially with a show as campy as this, with a whodunit plot and only 13 eps. A lot of people I know when I've mentioned it have said they're just going to watch all 13 eps when it's over.

Yeah, honestly that is why I assumed she was okay with him. Think about how batsh*t crazy Alice was about other "suitors" for Polly & Betty! Her asking Betty how it was going etc. I was like "wow, Alice is really okay with Juggy!"

I loved Ronnie being like wtf is this guy here and Kevin saying "it's Jughead's Dad!" as if that would explain why he's at a high school kegger.

It is very clearly a hamburger cake in the scene the morning after where Jughead is eating while Archie cleans. Kudos as they made a realistic teenager-made cake!

It relied a lot more on people being really stupid than I would like and non-realistic things happening. The "game" at the party completely made no sense. It's not like Chuck & Cheryl had weapons, you're telling me that B, V & A would just willingly sit and obey Cheryl in Archie's own house? I think not.

And then he took it off for the final scene! I was aghast!

Yes, I thought it was supposed to evoke a PTSD thing like he said becuase likely one commonality even for a shitty bday would be singing the song and Jughead himself said it was haunting. It was succesfully creepy as hell whatever the intent.
