I'm talking about the larger issue. I believe Donna lied about the firing because she felt Cameron was being too controlling and not "playing nice with others" that could potentially help the company. She wanted other people there to help Cam with some of the work. Whether or not the specific transactional code Cam…
Yes, they announced the S3 renewal in Oct. of last year. They announced S2 renewal in last August
2014. As I said, before December/when
the Golden Globes are announced.
Gordon abrupt coldness was harsh. Wish he'd explained he was hurt by the camping comment but I almost saw Donna's insanity/doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result to be like a light switch for Gordon. I'd guess he DGAF anymore, we'll see if that behavior happens next ep.
This episode showed that Cameron has some major MAJOR anxiety issues if nothing else. Staying in the car when she'd gone all the way to Texas was next level. I love her personality, yes, and honestly see a lot of her in me but this up definitely played up an actual issue beyond just being stressed/a genius introvert.
"it's becoming increasingly apparent that, deep down, Donna is not a nice person." I don't get this at all. What makes you say that?
There aren't any major award noms until December which is too late for a decision, the actors will need to know. And I'd say if it hasn't gotten under the radar GG love by now it's not going to happen.
I'd say Donna has been proven right by Cameron disappearing for a week and not communicating with anyone. It's not wise to have someone who'd do that as the only person who can make decisions.
I agree it's not that big a thing but Cameron is seriously fragile about stuff like that and Donna knows it so I wish she had just been truthful.
Really liked the episode, Mackenzie and Kerry were both great but especially Mackenzie. The coffee scene with Tom was so great and really set up the marriage well, you can see how much they still care about each other and how upset they were about the way things ended. I just really liked their relationship…
"…they seem to be accentuating Cameron's neurosis this year in a way they didn't in the past." It's definitely amped up to the nth degree this season and we could guess that it's because they're under more pressure/have more employees, etc. that Cameron feels like she's losing even more control (which she did say this…
Thanks for the reply :)
Very valid point.
I love the show too, my point is that the manner in which Lindsay got pregnant was highly unrealistic and is the only major plotline on the show that has been.
Oh my, I would love to watch with a crowd! Do they screen all the eps?!
This.
Yeah, they showed him being increasingly annoyed at not being regarded as a 'power'/boss figure. I think it was that.
yeah, we're getting in 70/30 territory for me and I love Cameron!
Same. I understand her wanting control and I think especially with those that found a company it's really hard to delegate and accept help, just she is her own worst enemy. Donna's lie shows that she knows this too. It'll blow up eventually and as you said, I like to feel more sympathy about it than I do at the…
Interesting observation. We shall see.
