AR apps can’t ‘redraw areas that need redrawing’, or reduce frame rate.

We have yet to have a phone generation that has decided “Lets not increase XYZ” and use the efficiency they gain for purely battery life.

If the GPS function isn’t managed properly then that’s also going to absolutely cane the battery.

I hear you, but I think the war on battery life needs to be fought by components and software, rather than bigger batteries.

I’m not sure this is the case. Well-written software can be power efficient.

Not a fan of MatPat. He’s the type of person I’d expect to end up meeting the pope, but he’s not someone I’d ever choose to represent how the internet brings people together.

I’m pretty sure this is exactly the game all those backers wanted.

The VR developer community in general haven’t been impressed with any of the Sony demos at E3 - apparently none of them were optimised for VR

She looks like a hipster. She needs to go sit in a coffee shop and be judging people on listening to mainstream music.

There’s 3D API profiling tools that let you record a frame, creating a snapshot of your world rendered in real-time.

I prefer this game to XIII.

I remember a game I worked on where we had children design some of the characters to be added.
